PAYMENTS

I accept all major credit cards and PayPal. I do not accept checks.

All payments should be finalized within 24 hours of purchase. Payments are expected immediately upon checkout. The payment must go through before the order is processed. All payments must be received in full before any made to order item is put into production and shipped.

For Bespoke customs and more involved customizations on custom existing pieces (such as bigger stones) there’s a non-refundable 50% deposit upfront.

PAYMENT PLANS

I recommend Shop Pay (Installments in partnership with Affirm) if you would prefer to pay in increment installments for made to order and custom existing pieces. Shop Pay offers a 4 month interest free to pay off and is an option to select at checkout. For custom and Bespoke pieces, please visit PayPal for more information and on PayPal Credit as an option. Do note that Items won’t be put into production and shipped till full payment has been received. 

 


SALES TAX

It’s required by law to collect sales tax on purchases. Sales tax applies to those in the state of California. The rate is calculated based on 8.75% tax rate. There is NO sales tax outside California.


PRICE CHANGES

Prices may change at any time due to rapid changes in the metal markets. However, if you place an order, you will be charged the price that is on the website at that time. If you don't place your order on a particular day, we can't guarantee that the same piece will be available at the same price the next day, week or month within a time this might occur within such extremities with the market. With a consistent market this should leave no concerns.


SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Michelle Valadon Design ships both domestic and international via USPS; however, I do also ship UPS, FED-EX, and DHL with a tracking number that is included. Once the order is made during the 2-3 weeks (collection pieces) or 7-10 weeks (Bespoke custom), it will then be shipped out with the selected choice of shipping method. Full coverage insurance is highly recommended and can be selected at checkout. Insured packages will need to be signed for.

Please provide an accurate and secure shipping address at checkout, and any business names needed if shipping to a business. Make sure to provide an email and phone number in case I need to reach you. I am not responsible for lost or stolen items.  I cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

All international packages will be declared at full value. Please note that likely a custom fee or duty will be applied once delivered. These costs are not included in the item price. Recipient is responsible for custom fees and duties that vary by country. Not responsible for delays due to customs or theft is not covered.

TRACKING & DELIVERY NOTIFICATIONS

Once your order has been placed and paid, you will receive confirmation of the order. When your order has been shipped, you will be notified with a tracking number so you can track it online right to your door.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

I accept returns and refunds for only made to order items within 7 days of delivery and accept exchanges after 7 days of delivery under these conditions:

  • Jewelry must be returned in its original state (cannot be worn, altered, damaged, or tangled)
  • Jewelry must be returned within time frames and postmarked for a refund or for an exchange
  • All Tags MUST be unbroken and still be attached to jewelry
  • Proof of purchase and/or a copy of the receipt must be included with the returned item

No refunds or exchanges after 30 days.

Returns, refunds, and exchanges can not be accepted on any custom bespoke pieces or any modifications on custom existing collections. These are created very specific to your request and due to this reason I’m unable to issue a return, refund or an exchange.

I don’t accept cancellations once orders have been confirmed after 24 hours.
Orders not paid or not heard from within 24 hours, order will be cancelled. If you have any problems with ordering, please contact me.


GUIDELINES FOR SHIPPING ITEMS BACK

Please send an email to michelle@michellevaladon.com before returning a piece for shipping instructions.

When returning, please do refrain in writing "jewelry" or any indication of that on the outside of the package. I suggest that items be returned in protective packaging with a tracking number and be insured. I am not responsible if your item is lost in the mail.

Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees for refunds are the responsibility of the customer.

REPAIRS/WARRANITIES

It is my commitment to stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of each piece. If there is any issue with the quality of the piece, please send along an email to michelle@michellevaladon.com immediately. I offer a re-size, re-stringing, re-finishing, and tightening service for all products within the first
3 months after purchase without a fee. After 3 months this is done for a fee for the costs of repairs. Shipping charges are not included (either way) and customer pays for shipping. Warranties for melee stones are covered however not for med to bigger size stones.

I strongly recommend to have gemstone jewelry inspected for security especially worn frequently every 6 months. I highly recommend to insure pieces for peace of mind and in case of loss or theft. I do not cover warranties for loss items or theft.
